Like any large machinery, telehandlers can be dangerous in the wrong hands. To operate them safely, you’ll need to receive proper telehandler training and practice. To qualify for telehandler training, you must complete both a theory course assessment and practical telehandler training. Once you’ve completed the qualification, you will receive a telehandler operator’s certificate and license card that is valid for three years. You must carry it with you at all times when operating a telehandler and update it annually if necessary.
